Snug Harbor Restaurant
This was the Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant website in 2001. In May 2003, this website announced the NEW Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant was opening Under the Sky Bridge at First Street & Old San Carlos Blvd. on Fort Myers Beach. Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant had great Yelp reviews. As of 2016 Yelpers have reported this location has now closed.
We're glad you were could make it. Over the years thousands of people have crossed over our threshold, and thousands of them return year after year. Don't be surprised if you hear our staff referring to customers by their first names. Snug Harbor is unique in that our dining areas are built completely over the water. Every seat is guaranteed a spectacular view. On any given day dolphins can be spotted frolicking in the bay and, if you are lucky, you may even spot a manatee. More importantly, Snug Harbor Waterfront restaurant is locally renowned for serving the finest, freshest seafood. Join us on our docks as we unload boats filled with grouper, snapper, shrimp, stone crab claws, and a wide variety of other seafood delicacies. We process the fisherman's catches on premises, prepare the fish in our kitchen and serve it the freshest it can be, right to your table. If you don't see what you want ask for it. We'll do our best to oblige. Good service, atmosphere, consistency, quality and history are nothing without customer satisfaction. We want you to enjoy your visit with us and hope you will become one of the thousands of customers who return regularly. Hopefully, before your visit is over, you will want us to call you by your first name. ENJOY!!!!
This was a great place to have a quiet dinner with an fascinating water view. The restaurant offered good food in a tranquil atmosphere with a great view and friendly service. Their fresh seafood was fabulous and one of favorite dishes. The nice thing Snug Harbor, at Old San Carlos Boulevard and First Street, was the outdoor seating overlooking the bay. Instead of being cooped up inside, I loved watching the boats, birds and dolphins pass by while enjoying a wonderful lunch or early dinner. The restaurant itself was practically under the bridge. Often my friends and I would stop by to eat dinner before we went over to one of our homes for an evening of slots & poker. We each had our favorite online slots for USA players listing sites to find a US player friendly casino, but were willing to play the casino of choice at whoever's home we were at that evening. We always have a blast winning and sometimes losing. Some of my favorite slot games are RTG games: Aladdin’s Wishes, Caesar’s Empire, Sweet 16, Achilles, Double Ya Luck!, but I also like to play in a slots tournament. Recently one of of my buddies won $500. Not bad for just having a night "in" with the guys. We all miss the Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant since it was just about equi-distance from all our houses. But once it closed down we found another place nearby. The food is good, but the view is not like Snug Harbor's view.
The all new Snug Harbor is built on the water, giving each seat a spectacular view of Matanzas Pass. Watch the dolphins play or take a leisurely walk along the docks. The dancing fountains will delight both young and old.
A favorite of locals and visitors alike all these years, the NEW Snug Harbor still features your favorites: the freshest seafood, much of it from the Snug Harbor fishing boats, mouthwatering slow-roasted prime rib; pastas, salads, chicken and steaks; a separate kid’s menu with crayons and our famous homemade key lime pie, baked fresh daily for dessert or take-home.
